My name’s Landon and I’m a writer based in Chicago.
I got my start in journalism and cut my teeth in TV news, writing print pieces for magazines and scripts for broadcast. What I ended up with is an eye for story, a reporter-sized pile of questions, and an insatiable appetite for turning big ideas into something real.
Since 2021 I’ve been a copywriter at Someoddpilot,1 putting one word in front of another for clients like Fjällräven,2 Darn Tough,3 Mijenta Tequila,4 and more.
Before that, I freelanced for NASA5 and contributed longform journalism to Input Magazine,6 Seattle Met Magazine,7 and the Chicago Tribune.8
