When you think of ASPCA, do you think of Sarah McLaughlin crooning the words “in the aaarms of an aaangel…” and lots of sad dogs? So did we. That’s why, for their new campaign, we wanted to put a positive spin on pet insurance that felt less like an evening at the opera and more like a romp in the (dog) park.

Our spot came together in under a month, used only stock footage, and dialed the whimsy all the way up. When the client saw it, they threw their old media plan out the window and ran it in the Puppy Bowl, where it caught the eye of over 12 million people. The end result: We got a gold star on our report card, and Bella the pug finally got her big moment on the silver screen.
